Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai is seeking an experienced HVAC BIM Engineer to develop and maintain 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit MEP. You will model chilled water, DX, AHU/FAHU/FCU, ventilation, exhaust, ductwork and pipework while coordinating with other disciplines.

You will prepare shop drawings, sections and layouts, review consultant drawings, perform clash detection in Navisworks and participate in BIM coordination meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC BIM Modeling experience.
• Consultant experience is highly preferred/mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage.
• Good understanding of HVAC design principles and MEP coordination.
• Experience with high-rise buildings, villas, residential and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC MEP standards and authority requirements.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Model HVAC systems including chilled water, DX, AHU/FAHU/FCU, ventilation, exhaust, ductwork and pipework.
• Prepare and review HVAC shop drawings, coordinated drawings, sections, details, and layouts.
• Review consultant drawings and specifications to ensure BIM models comply with design.
• Coordinate HVAC services with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Structural and Architectural disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve technical clashes.
• Review contractor/subcontractor BIM models and drawings against consultant requirements.
• Ensure models/drawings follow BIM standards, LOD, naming conventions and documentation standards.
• Assist in preparing BIM deliverables, schedules, quantity take-offs and as-built models.
• Identify design discrepancies and coordinate with engineers to revise as needed.
• Maintain updated models based on design changes, site requirements and consultant comments.
