Job summary

ALEC Technologies in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced BIM Coordinator to drive multidisciplinary model coordination across ICT, ELV, AV, Security, and Smart Systems. You will implement BIM standards, support digital delivery, and ensure alignment with project requirements from planning through handover.

Lead clash detection, manage BIM content, and mentor junior team members while delivering quality deliverables on time in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' BIM coordination experience in construction projects, with ELV/MEP exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, ACC, BIM 360, and other BIM coordination platforms.
• Solid understanding of BIM standards (BEP), ISO 19650, CDE, and information management principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project BIM Manager in implementing BIM standards and information workflows.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain BIM models for ICT, ELV, AV, Security, and Smart Systems.
• Create and manage discipline-specific Revit families, templates, and BIM content libraries.
• Ensure BIM models comply with BEP, project requirements, and ISO 19650 principles.
• Lead model coordination activities: clash detection, issue tracking, and RFI support.
• Publish and distribute coordinated BIM models via ACC, BIM 360, and CDE.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Produce BIM reports, quantity take-offs, schedules, and asset information.
