Job summary

iTech Engineering Consultancy seeks a Senior BIM Engineer – Electrical/MEP to lead BIM modeling, coordination, and documentation for UAE projects. You will develop and manage electrical and ELV BIM models, ensure BEP and LOD compliance, and guide junior team members throughout design development and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–7 years of BIM experience in MEP projects with Electrical specialization.
• Experience in commercial, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, aviation, transportation or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage MEP BIM models with focus on Electrical and ELV systems.
• Produce BIM deliverables including layouts, sections, schedules, details, coordinated drawings, and quantity take-offs.
• Model and coordinate Electrical systems (Power, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Small Power, Earthing) and ELV systems.
• Coordinate Electrical BIM models with other disciplines and support multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Review models for accuracy, compliance with BEP, BIM standards, and LOD requirements.
• Provide mentoring to BIM Engineers and Modelers and contribute to BIM standards and workflows.
