Job summary

Saint Francis is seeking a seasoned Billing Compliance Auditor to lead hospital and professional billing audits, investigations, and policy management. You will identify major compliance issues, develop training, and analyze the evolving regulatory healthcare landscape.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare billing/compliance, with Epic HB/PB experience and strong CMS/OIG knowledge. A health information management-related degree is preferred, with CHC certification as a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Healthcare Billing, Coding, or Compliance.
Recent Epic HB or PB Billing Compliance experience (last 3–5 years).
Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Strong understanding of CMS and OIG guidelines.
Advanced knowledge of Epic charge router logic and clinical workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Health Information Management preferred.
Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct and manage Hospital and Professional billing compliance audits, reviews, projects, and investigations.
Identify significant issues within the scope of audits to ensure compliance with statutes and regulations.
Develop ongoing billing compliance training and awareness initiatives.
Analyze regulatory healthcare environment via state, federal, and industry publications.
Manage the Billing Compliance Program Policy and Procedures life cycle process.
Provide subject matter expertise for policy updates and best practices.
