Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Collections Officer to manage overdue accounts, negotiate settlements, and drive timely resolutions while ensuring compliance with KYC/AML and consumer protection regulations. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years of collections experience, with strong communication and negotiation skills, and basic banking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocated overdue accounts and achieve monthly collection targets.
• Monitor efficiency and productivity against targets.
• Document collection activities in the system.
• Negotiate repayment arrangements and settlements with customers.
• Conduct customer follow-ups per procedures and code of conduct.
• Ensure compliance with consumer protection, KYC/AML and regulations.
• Identify and report regulatory developments affecting collections.
• Maintain high service and control standards to minimize complaints and audits.
