Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced Collections Officer to follow up on allocated delinquent accounts during the month, pursuing resolution through persuasion and negotiation in line with FAB policies. You will work to maintain strong customer relationships while meeting monthly targets and adhering to CPR, KYC and AML requirements.

The role requires 1–2 years UAE collections experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1–2 years collections experience in UAE.
• Awareness of legal and remedial options in collections.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on allocated delinquent accounts and aims to resolve them monthly.
• Review long-tenure customer relationships and ensure full history is considered before calls.
• Ensure CPR compliance and adherence to bank policies during collections.
• Document details of overdue accounts for future trails in the collection system.
• Flag high risks to managers for accelerated actions.
• Evaluate viable options post discussion with customers to prevent next delinquency.
