Job summary

List International Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on Cloud Server Engineer to design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and related cloud services. You will work with IT to ensure secure, scalable, high-performing environments and implement IaC, DevOps practices, and automation across multi-cloud resources.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, fluent Arabic and English, and strong fundamentals in networking, security, and server administration. Office-based, onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on cloud/infra engineering.
• Strong Azure expertise and familiarity with AWS/GCP is a plus.
• Experience implementing DevOps and IaC practices in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Design, implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Manage Azure infrastructure: VMs, networking, storage, security, monitoring, backup.
• Ensure scalability, availability, security, and performance of cloud/server infra.
• Manage server instances, storage, and containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Apply DevOps best practices to deployment and automation.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning.
• Optimize Azure resources for performance, cost, reliability, and security.
• Monitor health and reliability of Azure resources and preempt outages.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, network, and performance issues.
• Maintain Windows/Linux servers and related components.
• Implement security controls, access management, patching, backup, DR.
• Maintain technical docs: diagrams, configs, SOPs, architecture, incidents.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development, IT, security teams; support data processing workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve reliability.
