Thrifty Car Rental in the UAE seeks a Purchase Executive to source and procure automotive spare parts, tyres, batteries, and workshop consumables. You will evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate terms, issue POs, and manage delivery with workshops and fleet teams.

Maintain supplier records and drive cost efficiencies. The role requires 3–5 years in automotive procurement, familiarity with UAE supplier networks, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in automotive spare parts procurement.
• Experience in car rental or fleet management preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE spare parts supplier networks and pricing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure automotive spare parts, tyres, batteries, lubricants, and workshop consumables.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for competitive pricing.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
• Issue purchase orders and track orders through to delivery.
• Coordinate with workshops and fleet maintenance teams to understand requirements.
• Maintain records of frequently used parts and supplier lists.
• Monitor supplier performance against pricing, quality, delivery, and service levels.
• Resolve supply issues and warranty claims with vendors.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approvals.
• Analyze spending trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
