Job summary

Mubadala is seeking a Senior Associate, Platform Communications to support the development and implementation of communications plans aligned with the business platform’s requirements. The role involves coordinating Mubadala’s communications activities across the unit and other platform teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in communications within large organizations, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and deep knowledge of the UAE market and regulatory context.

What you will do:
Job Purpose:

• To support the development and implementation of communications plans in line with the overall requirements and needs of the business platform.
• Support the team in effectively delivering on communications objectives and requirements.

Job Description:

• This position will coordinate and contribute to Mubadala’s communications activities, working closely with colleagues across the Communications Unit and other business platform communications teams.
• The position will work closely with the Head of Communications, peers, and assets to coordinate and manage communications initiatives including: Public Relations; Crisis Communications; leadership profiling; speaking engagements; internal communications; government relations; media relations; sponsorships; events & conferences; CSR; and other communications requests or needs within the business platform.

What will you bring:

• Experience working in communications, preferably gained within a large-scale organization with complex and multi-sector operations, or through experience spanning a range of industries.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and media relations in relevant key markets (local, regional and/or international), with a clear understanding of effective business and social engagement techniques within multi-cultural environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the UAE market, including its cultural context, regulatory landscape, and business practices, with the ability to navigate and apply this understanding to achieve organizational objectives.

Knowledge:

• Strong sectoral knowledge relevant to the platform’s business units and portfolio, with the ability to develop communications strategies, plans, and solutions tailored to specific sectors.
