This role is suited for a design-focused professional who can lead landscape teams, manage creative and technical project stages, support fee proposals, guide multidisciplinary coordination, and deliver high-quality landscape architecture solutions for major regional projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a landscape architecture team with a strong understanding of aesthetic quality, technical detailing, resources, project budgets, and design delivery requirements.
  • Provide design leadership, daily guidance, and mentoring support to landscape studio staff.
  • Work with studio management on the daily operation, development, and long‑term performance of the landscape studio.
  • Collaborate with master planning teams to develop landscape design strategies at master planning and public realm levels.
  • Support the financial performance of studio projects through resource awareness, delivery discipline, and commercial coordination.
  • Coordinate with internal disciplines and manage sub‑consultant activities to support smooth project delivery.
  • Lead design processes from pre‑concept and concept development through schematic design, detailed design, technical design, and final design stages.
  • Apply production techniques, procedures, documentation standards, and quality expectations throughout the design process.
  • Present design ideas, project strategies, and technical solutions to clients from early project stages through delivery milestones.
  • Support business development presentations and represent the studio in client‑facing discussions.
  • Assist business development teams in preparing technical proposals, financial proposals, design narratives, and delivery strategies.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of industry codes, standards, health and safety requirements, sustainability regulations, and design compliance expectations.
  • Coordinate project interfaces with architecture, urban design, infrastructure, roads, utilities, irrigation, lighting, sustainability, and cost teams.
  • Review design outputs for quality, constructability, regional suitability, technical accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Build team capability by encouraging collaboration, technical confidence, creative thinking, and high standards of landscape design delivery.
  • Perform additional design leadership, studio management, and project coordination tasks as required.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture from an accredited university or college program.
  • Minimum 15 years of continuous experience in landscape architecture.
  • International experience across North America, Europe, Middle East, or Asia is preferred.
  • Professional registration, licensure, or chartership with an internationally recognized professional association.
  • Professional certification such as CMLI, ASLA, or ALIA is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage landscape projects through all stages of the design process, especially early design and technical design stages.
  • Strong confidence in presenting to clients while representing the studio and wider company professionally.
