Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai seeks a Landscape Architect - Public Realm Design to deliver public spaces across the Middle East. You will develop concepts, translate ideas into drawings, models and presentations, and manage design activities under senior guidance.

Ideal candidates have strong English, familiarity with regional construction methods, sustainability, and regulatory standards, with experience in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino or similar tools. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills advantageous.
• Progress toward professional credential (e.g., CMLI, ASLA, ALIA) desirable.
• Experience in landscape architecture for public realm or similar.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop original landscape architecture concepts for public realm developments.
• Translate design ideas into clear drawings, models, presentations, and technical information.
• Complete assigned project activities independently under senior guidance.
• Coordinate design inputs with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Consider user experience, climate, materials, planting, accessibility, and long-term maintenance when shaping proposals.
• Apply relevant design codes, technical standards, sustainability regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Incorporate regional construction practices into design decisions.
• Manage allocated internal resources to meet deliverables.
• Monitor tasks against project schedules and communicate constraints.
• Review design outputs for accuracy and alignment with intended aesthetics.
• Maintain accountability for quality and timely completion of work.
• Contribute ideas to improve team workflows and project efficiency.

Ideal Profile

The preferred candidate will understand both the creative and technical dimensions of landscape architecture. Familiarity with design production methods, documentation procedures, industry standards, sustainability requirements, and the regional construction environment is important. Strong attention to quality is required across visual design, technical coordination, and final deliverables. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
