Job summary

M&CO Legal in Dubai is seeking a Senior Associate – Arbitration to join our growing Arbitration team. The candidate will handle complex arbitration and dispute resolution matters, with DIFC experience essential.

You will manage arbitration matters from start to finish, draft pleadings and submissions, coordinate with clients, counsel and experts, and support DIFC-related proceedings. English law qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with extensive arbitration and dispute resolution experience.
• DIFC experience is essential.
• Experience handling complex commercial and international arbitration matters.
• Experience drafting pleadings, submissions, applications, and other arbitration-related documents.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively with Partners and the wider legal team.
• UAE legal experience is an advantageous plus.

• Qualified lawyer with strong experience in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution.
• DIFC experience is essential.
• Strong experience in handling complex commercial and international arbitration matters.
• Experience in drafting pleadings, submissions, applications, and other arbitration-related documents.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively with Partners and the wider legal team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• UAE legal experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and assisting with arbitration matters from commencement through to final award.
• Conducting detailed legal research and preparing legal submissions.
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings, applications, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Assisting Partners on complex arbitration and dispute resolution matters.
• Coordinating with clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting the team in DIFC-related proceedings and matters.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years’ overall legal experience.
• At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience handling DIFC matters.
• English law qualification preferred.
