Job summary

Khaled Almarri and Partners seeks a young Arab legal consultant to join a non-Arabic speaking disputes team in Dubai. The role focuses on protecting and enforcing clients' rights within UAE procedures.

You will assist with drafting memorandums, filings, and legal notices, conduct research, and interact with court staff and government bodies. Fluency in English is essential for collaboration with the disputes team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of legal experience in the UAE.
• Fluent in English to work with non-Arabic speaking disputes team.
• Strong knowledge of UAE court systems, procedures, and electronic filing systems.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Emirati Advocates at the Dubai Courts, Dubai Police and Prosecution.
• Draft memorandums and filings in accordance with UAE procedures.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Draft, file and submit pleadings, appeals, and legal notices in both Arabic and English.
• Interact with court staff and government departments.
• Ensure compliance with UAE court protocols and filing systems.

Reports to: Managing Associate / Partner

An exciting opportunity for a young Arab legal consultant who thrives in a multi-cultural environment, as the successful candidate shall be joining a strictly non-Arabic speaking (English) disputes team which takes pride in collectively coming up with stellar and creative arguments to protect and enforce the legal rights of our Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with assisting the Emirati Advocates at the Dubai Courts, Dubai Police and Prosecution and attending expert meetings.
• Based on the brainstorming sessions with the disputes team – drafting of memorandums, and filings in accordance with UAE legal procedures.
• Responsibly conduct legal research and case analysis for ongoing matters
• Draft, file and submit pleadings, appeals, and legal notices in both Arabic and English
• Interacting court staff, and other related government departments.
• Ensure compliance with all UAE court protocols and filing systems

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of legal experience in the UAE.
• Demonstrated experience for the above responsibilities.
• Fluent in English as the requirement is to work with non-arabic speaking with Disputes team.
• Strong knowledge of UAE court systems, procedures, and electronic filing systems.
• Fundamental clarity on legal principles; and
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
