Job description

The Team

The Associate position will work within the Dispute Resolution team in the Dubai office.

The practice focuses on high-value cross-border litigation, international arbitration, digital assets, enforcement and strategically significant disputes across the UAE and wider GCC region.

The team advises corporates, UHNWIs, family offices, financial institutions and sovereign-linked entities on strategically sensitive disputes, often involving parallel proceedings across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

This is an exciting and varied role for a talented Associate to develop their career within a leading international disputes practice.

The successful candidate will be committed to developing their career within Dispute Resolution within the region and will be able to demonstrate their passion for and experience in this area.

Skills & Experience

• Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years PQE, gained within a leading international Dispute Resolution practice.
• Strong experience in commercial litigation and/or international arbitration.
• Training completed at a leading international law firm.
• Demonstrable passion for dispute resolution and complex litigation.
• Existing regional experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, in order to meet the demands of challenging and commercial internal and external clients, as well as dealing with competing priorities.
• Ability to project manage effectively.
• Experience of managing due diligence processes.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both internally and with clients.
