Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for Abu Dhabi projects. You will lead the construction supervision scope, advise on engineering and contractual matters, and act as client’s main contact per the contracted scope of work.

Reporting to the Director of Supervision, this role requires extensive experience in residential development, high-rise projects, and robust knowledge of project controls and safety management. Join a global team delivering iconic infrastructure in the region.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of senior construction supervision/management experience on residential projects.
• 5+ years in a senior technical position with broad engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery (time, cost, quality) of the assigned package.
• Supervise contractors to ensure works meet specs and milestones.
• Direct the supervision team for day-to-day inspections.
• Maintain a high level of safety and ensure contractor compliance with obligations.
• Administer FIDIC-based or standalone contracts and resolve site issues.
• Present progress to the client team and discuss scope changes with client.
