Job summary

Black & Grey HR in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Lead Architect for a prominent contracting company. You will lead architectural design initiatives from concept to completion, mentor junior architects, and drive technical excellence to deliver on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with clients, engineers, and leadership, ensure compliance with Dubai building codes and sustainability standards, and support business growth through strategic proposals and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of architectural experience, with 3+ years as Lead Architect.
• Proven track record in large-scale UAE/GCC projects.
• Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Middle East building codes and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from concept through construction completion.
• Collaborate with clients to define needs, goals, and tailored design solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals, including sketches, 3D models, and visualizations.
• Develop architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and design adherence.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and targets.
• Mentor and guide junior architects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure all designs comply with Dubai building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Support business development through proposals, client presentations, and strategic meetings.
