Job summary

Black & Grey HR, recruiting for a leading UAE-based contracting company, seeks an Architectural Engineer to oversee architectural design coordination, technical reviews, site execution, and compliance across projects in the UAE.

You will review drawings, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, supervise on-site works, and ensure adherence to UAE codes and safety standards while supporting procurement and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience with construction contracting companies.
• Experience in site execution and design coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve design issues.
• Supervise on-site architectural works to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to construction teams.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging, and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project specs, and safety standards.
• Support procurement through technical evaluation and approval of architectural materials.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built records.
