Job summary

Black & Grey HR in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is partnering with a leading contracting and construction company to recruit a Design Architect for Civil, Residential, and Mixed-Use projects. The role focuses on concept development, architectural planning, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to drive project delivery from concept through execution.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of architectural design experience, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, and a solid

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
3–6 years of architectural design experience in contracting, construction, or consultancy environments.
Experience in Civil, Residential, and Mixed-Use projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, space planning, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related software.
Familiarity with local building regulations and authority approval processes.
Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Develop architectural concepts, design presentations, and detailed design packages for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and 3D models in compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
Coordinate with engineering, technical, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth project execution.
Assist in preparing design documentation, BOQs, and technical submissions.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, authority regulations, and client requirements.
Participate in client meetings, internal design reviews, and coordination workshops.
Review shop drawings and support technical clarifications during construction stages.
Maintain design quality, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines.
