Job summary

Honeywell International Inc is seeking an Advanced Application Engineer in Abu Dhabi to capture technical requirements, design and deliver AGLCMS and related systems for airports. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure high availability, performance and security of Honeywell airport technologies.

The role involves collaboration with HAB R&D and regional teams, driving engagements with standards bodies, and delivering on-site installation, testing, commissioning and handover

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma Degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience installing, testing and commissioning AGLCMS systems.
• Airport/airside solutions market experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of AGL & CMS, operations and planning.
• Hands-on topology design and TCP/IP services (HTTP/FTP/SSH/SMTP).
• Customer-facing, strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture technical requirements and prepare system and software proposals.
• Provide advanced engineering and application management support for day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with R&D, standards bodies, and sales to drive engagements.
• Coordinate with customers and partners to position Honeywell power supply/control systems.
• Establish and manage onsite software configuration management.
• Deliver growth to meet targets and reduce cycle time.
• Prepare methods of statements for installation, testing and commissioning.
• Create SOPs for Airfield Lighting, A-SMGCS, ATM, VDGS, inductive sensors.
• Lead installation, testing, commissioning and warranty activities.
• Mentor airport personnel and ensure quality assurance across projects.
