THE ROLE
Special Airport Systems Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting the planning, design, specification, procurement support, integration, testing and handover of aircraft stand equipment and associated airport systems. The role covers Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA), 400 Hz Ground Power Units (GPU), Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS), Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) and their interfaces with stand planning, terminal buildings, utilities, ICT, controls and airport operations. The job holder will provide technically robust, safe, maintainable and energy-efficient solutions throughout the project lifecycle, while applying quality procedures, systems-engineering principles and responsible AI-assisted workflows.
