Job summary

Jacobs in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Airfield Engineer to provide technical expertise on airfield and airport infrastructure design projects. You will meet project milestones, deliver high-quality outcomes, and act as a subject-matter expert while guiding a multidisciplinary design team and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Airport, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with ≥7 years in airport projects.
• Knowledge of airfield pavements, ICAO Annex 14, FAA standards.
• Experience delivering projects in operational airports.
• PMP, PE, CEng or equivalent is an advantage.
• Middle East project experience in airports preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and design teams.
• Develop and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with ICAO, FAA, EASA, GCAA and local standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, utilities, structures, transportation, planning, env.).
• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead design and delivery of airfield projects from concept to construction support.
