Job summary

Sener is seeking an Airport Design Engineer with 5–8 years of professional experience to lead and review airport infrastructure design across greenfield and brownfield projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, constructible, and robust airside and landside solutions throughout the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proven airport infrastructure design experience mandatory.
• Experience in airside or landside airport infrastructure design.
• Experience on greenfield or brownfield airport projects.
• Ability to produce and review engineering calculations, drawings, reports, specifications, and technical submissions.

Responsibilities

• Undertake airport infrastructure design activities across concept, preliminary, detailed, and tender design stages.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, design reports, technical specifications, and other design deliverables.
• Contribute to the design of airside infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield pavements, service roads, and associated facilities.
• Contribute to the design of landside infrastructure, including access roads, kerbside areas, parking facilities, transport interfaces, and associated utilities.
• Coordinate airport infrastructure designs with civil, roads, drainage, utilities, structures, architecture, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in technical reviews, multidisciplinary coordination meetings, constructability reviews, and value engineering activities.
• Identify and resolve technical design issues, risks, interfaces, and multidisciplinary coordination conflicts.
• Support the delivery of coordinated, high-quality design packages in accordance with project requirements and agreed schedules.
