Job summary

Artelia Middle-East is seeking a Senior Special Airport Systems Engineer to lead planning, design, and specification of stand equipment and fixed ground service systems for major airport projects. You will ensure technically robust, energy-efficient solutions across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 12+ years of airport systems experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Office, and familiarity with ICAO/IATA standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
12+ years of airport special systems experience.
Proven PCA, 400 Hz GPU, VDGS, and PBB delivery experience.
Strong knowledge of airport operations and stand planning.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/Navisworks/AviPLAN helpful.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and specification of airport stand equipment and fixed ground service systems.
Develop layouts, calculations, reports, specifications, and tender docs.
Coordinate interfaces with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.
Ensure ICAO, IATA, EN, SAE, and ISO standards compliance.
Support evaluations, supplier engagement, procurement, testing, and handover.
Drive innovation via BIM, simulation tools, and AI-assisted workflows.
