Job summary

Ushre in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, UAE VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a Dubai brokerage. You will own the books from ledger to VAT return, handle AP/AR/GL, prepare monthly statements, support budgeting and cash-flow monitoring, and coordinate with auditors.

The role requires 5+ years of UAE accounting experience (real estate/brokerage preferred); Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; Indian nationality; salary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UAE accounting experience
• Real estate or brokerage accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax requirements
• Hands-on experience with AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations
• Excellent Excel and accounting software skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Indian nationality

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Review invoices, receipts, payments and company expenses
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation
• Prepare bank, customer, supplier reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management accounts
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Monitor cash flow and payment schedules
• Handle UAE VAT calculations, documentation and VAT return preparation
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required audit support
