TestHiring in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Accountant to prepare and review financial statements, manage month-end close, and ensure VAT compliance under UAE regulations.

You will support audits, collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights, and drive continuous improvements in accounting processes while maintaining accurate records.

Formación

• Senior Accountant with 25 years of experience.
• Qualification: CA / Inter CA preferred
• Strong accounting & financial reporting skills

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws including timely filing and reporting of VAT returns.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business planning.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

RequirementsSenior Accountant with 25 years of experience.
Qualification: CA / Inter CA preferred
Strong accounting & financial reporting skills
Experience in trading or similar industry preferred
Good knowledge of VAT & UAE compliance
Ability to work independently

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C or Python Experience with software development tools and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities
