Job summary

Borouge ADP and Borouge PTE Abu Dhabi are seeking a senior finance professional to manage the general ledger, month/year-end accruals, and IFRS compliance across entities in Abu Dhabi. The role covers journal entries, GL maintenance, and accounting procedures in SAP and advanced Excel usage.

You will collaborate with controllers, support audits, and deliver timely financial reporting. A strong background in corporate accounting and intercompany processes is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• Fluency in English Language; written and oral.
• IFRS training courses.
• Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and systems.
• Analytical thinking with attention to details.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and post journal entries with the details of every business transaction to ensure proper categorization and data accuracy.
• Update/revise all general ledger accounts monthly with proper justification for unusual transactions.
• Complete month-end and year-end accruals in collaboration with controllers and line managers.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations and information for ADNOC Group Companies.
• Analyze financial statements and provide reports and explanations for management and auditors.
