Job summary

Sundus in Abu Dhabi is seeking a GL Accountant to manage core ledger activity and ensure accurate reporting. You will maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and support month-end closings with precision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, strong IFRS knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems to deliver timely financial statements and audit support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end closings.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
