Parker Connect is recruiting a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting and statutory compliance in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.

You will prepare and analyze financial statements, review general ledger accuracy, monitor budget variance, and coordinate with external auditors. The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of local tax/VAT rules to support senior management in driving financial performance.

Qualifications

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and ongoing forecasting.
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial and accounting principles, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy .
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and regular forecasting.
• Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances
• Conduct financial and accounting analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and financial performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit and address audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Ensure the submission of tax and VAT filings before the due dates.
