Job summary

Odhav Multi Industries in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Accountant/Sr. Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, ledgers, and financial reporting. You will ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial records while supporting month-end processes.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce, have 2–5 years of relevant experience, and be proficient with MS Excel and ERP accounting software. VAT knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Experience with MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of VAT and applicable tax requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, cash books, and supporting documents.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as required.
