Senior Accountant - Finance Transformation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is an Accounting opportunity for an experienced finance professional with expertise in shared services governance, transformation projects, executive reporting, automation initiatives, KPI management, and cross-functional coordination. Al-Futtaim is hiring a finance transformation professional to support GBS Finance governance, strengthen management reporting, coordinate automation initiatives, and ensure critical actions and transformation milestones are completed accurately and on schedule.
The Senior Accountant will support the GBS Finance transformation agenda by coordinating governance routines, consolidating management information, tracking strategic actions, and supporting automation initiatives across finance workstreams. The position acts as an execution link between GBS Finance, divisional finance teams, controlling functions, technology stakeholders, and senior leadership. Accurate reporting and disciplined follow-through are central to the role because management decisions depend on reliable KPI information, clear ownership of actions, and visibility of transformation progress across the UAE and Egypt.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA will be considered an advantage. The position requires at least 4 years of experience within Finance Shared Services, PMO or project coordination, Audit, finance transformation, or a comparable governance-focused environment. Strong knowledge of finance shared service processes, FSSC taxonomy, end-to-end finance process lifecycles, and recurring governance or reporting cadences is important. Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel capability is essential because the role involves preparation of executive review decks, management analysis, dashboards, and structured action trackers. Candidates should also be comfortable using Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Lists, Power BI, or Tableau for workflow monitoring and data visualization. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP platforms will strengthen suitability. The successful professional will combine financial understanding with disciplined project management, strong stakeholder coordination, attention to detail, and the persistence required to drive actions through completion.
