Job summary

Lobo Management Services' client, a well-established FMCG company in Dubai, seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team. The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, reporting and financial controls.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in FMCG, distribution, trading or retail, and solid ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in FMCG, distribution, trading or retail.
• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and general UAE accounting practices.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, customers and auditors as required.
• Identify discrepancies and support improvements to accounting processes and controls.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within FMCG, distribution, trading or retail.
• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems would be advantageous.
