Job summary

Lobo Management in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team. The role concentrates on managing day-to-day accounting with strong AP/AR focus, accurate reconciliations, and robust financial controls for a well-established FMCG business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in FMCG, distribution, trading or retail.
• Strong AP/AR experience.
• ERP/accounting systems knowledge; SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and UAE accounting practices.
• Attention to detail, analytical ability, and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within FMCG, distribution, trading or retail.
• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems would be advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and general UAE accounting practices.
