Job summary

Green Fuel International DMCC seeks an experienced accountant in Dubai with 3+ years UAE experience to manage day-to-day accounting, invoicing, VAT compliance, and MIS reporting. Proficiency in Tally Prime and Zoho is essential.

You will perform monthly closings, coordinate with bankers and auditors, and ensure records meet UAE accounting standards while supporting management with financial analyses.

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA or CMA with UAE accounting exposure.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices using company-approved invoice templates and maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Maintain a good understanding of UAE VAT laws.
• VAT compliance requirements and UAE e-invoicing requirements.
• Perform monthly closing activities including account reconciliations accruals prepayments and ledger reviews.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
• Coordinate with bankers and provide the required financial information documents and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Use Tally Prime and Zoho accounting software for day-to-day accounting activities.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports and reconciliations using MS Excel and MS Word.
• Support management with financial analysis, reporting and other accounting-related assignments.
• Develop a basic understanding of marine fuel trading and bunkering business including purchases, invoicing, supplier payments and customer collections.

• Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Good working knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements.
• Practical experience with Tally Prime and Zoho accounting software is essential.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet monthly closing deadlines.
• Experience in trading companies, marine fuel trading, or the bunkering industry will be an added advantage.
