Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior 3D Model Application Engineer for an offshore water injection project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with planned relocation to Spain and eventual return.

You will manage and optimize 3D models across FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to standards. The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary coordination, model integration, and support for brownfield modifications, with focus on digital engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with CAD exposure.
• Certification in AVEVA E3D, SP3D, or equivalent preferred.
• Digital Engineering or BIM Management qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage project 3D modeling platforms and databases.
• Develop and maintain project 3D model execution plans and workflows.
• Ensure model quality and compliance with project specs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary model development across disciplines.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely milestone delivery.
• Integrate data from multiple disciplines into the 3D model.
• Conduct model reviews and clash detection sessions.
• Resolve design conflicts and interface issues.
• Support constructability reviews and MOC requirements.
• Configure engineering software environments and manage access.
• Perform model audits and quality assurance checks.
• Develop 3D construction work packages and visualization tools.
• Provide training and technical support to design teams.
