The SEN Inclusion Teacher will support students with diverse learning needs by designing tailored learning plans, collaborating with teachers, and ensuring an inclusive, supportive classroom environment. This role focuses on enabling students to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) based on student assessments and learning goals
Provide targeted instruction and interventions to support students with additional learning needs
Work closely with classroom teachers to adapt lessons, materials, and assessments for differentiated learning
Conduct ongoing assessments to track progress and adjust support strategies as needed
Collaborate with parents, specialists, and school leadership to ensure consistent support for each student
Promote inclusive teaching practices and provide guidance to staff on strategies for supporting diverse learners
Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes
Contribute to whole-school initiatives that enhance inclusion and student well-being
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
Teaching qualification recognized by relevant educational authorities
Experience supporting students with a range of learning needs, including mild to moderate learning difficulties
Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and intervention strategies
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and specialists
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Experience working in an international or multicultural school setting
Training in specific intervention programs or learning support tools
Familiarity with English as an Additional Language (EAL) support strategies
