Job summary

techcarrot is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to drive agile delivery across multiple Digital Engineering projects and PODs in a complex enterprise technology environment.

You will own ceremonies, sprint execution, dependency management, and delivery reporting, coordinating with product, engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, and external partners. The ideal candidate has enterprise digital transformation consulting experience and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years IT/product development experience, incl. 4+ years as Scrum Master/Agile PM.
• 2+ years coaching/agile training for individuals or teams.
• Experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels with advanced techniques.
• 4+ years using Jira, Azure DevOps, Project Online; proficient with Teams/Confluence.
• 3+ years in CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing and modern software practices.
• CSM/PSM I/II; SAFe certification preferred; consulting in digital transformation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Lead cross-POD synchronization to manage dependencies across digital engineering teams.
• Maintain sprint health, backlog readiness, delivery velocity and ownership clarity.
• Enforce DoR and DoD standards; track progress, risks, actions, dependencies, impediments.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, and vendors.
• Provide ongoing coaching on agile values and practical delivery discipline.
• Support CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Support release planning, capacity planning, governance, and status reporting.

Job description

The Scrum Master will drive agile delivery acrossmultiple Digital Engineering projects and PODs within a complex enterprisetechnology environment.

The role will own team ceremonies, sprint execution,dependency management, delivery reporting, and coordination across product,engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and externalpartners. The Scrum Master will remove impediments, strengthen deliverydiscipline, and maintain alignment between business priorities and engineeringoutcomes.

The ideal candidate brings consulting or enterprisedigital transformation experience, strong stakeholder management, vendorcoordination, and practical agile coaching across cross-functional engineeringteams.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Delivery & Facilitation

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Lead cross-POD synchronization sessions to manage dependencies across digital engineering teams.
• Maintain sprint health, backlog readiness, delivery velocity, and clear ownership of committed outcomes.
• Enforce Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) standards.
• Track progress, risks, actions, dependencies, and impediments; drive timely resolution and escalation.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the coordination point between product, engineering, business teams, technology vendors, and delivery partners.
• Maintain transparent communication across internal and external stakeholders on priorities, progress, and constraints.
• Drive alignment on scope, timelines, technical dependencies, deliverables, and release readiness.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement

• Coach PODs on agile values, practical delivery discipline, accountability, and self-organization.
• Promote CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, quality engineering, and continuous feedback practices.
• Build a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Planning, Reporting & Governance

• Support release planning, capacity planning, governance reviews, and leadership status reporting.
• Maintain integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID items, and delivery dashboards using Microsoft Project and agile tools.
• Ensure sprint records, decisions, actions, releases, and delivery evidence remain current and audit-ready.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT/product development, including 4 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in digital engineering environments.
• 2+ years of experience coaching and training individuals or engineering teams in agile practices.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple organizational levels using advanced facilitation techniques.
• 4+ years of experience using tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Project Online, etc.) and collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence).
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project with at least 3 years of practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) required; SAFe certification preferred.
• Consulting experience in digital transformation, digital engineering, product development, or enterprise technology programs is highly desirable.
