GEMS Metropole School is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Assistant to join our school, playing a key role in driving student success through the effective use of data in schools.

The role involves supporting the data manager with MIS planning, reporting and analysis; liaising with leaders and staff; and developing data insights using Power BI and other systems. The position offers opportunities for professional development within a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a data assistant.
• Experience with Nova-T6 is essential.
• Experience with educational data including pastoral and academic data.
• Experience with Go4Schools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the data manager in MIS planning, development and monitoring.
• Liaise between leaders, teaching staff and support staff.
• Produce reports for Academic teams to analyse attainment and progress.
• Use reports to spot trends and conduct comparative analyses between schools.
• Support data for School Inspection, Evaluation and Improvement plans.
• Liaise with Examination Officer regarding examination data.
• Attend professional development courses and update knowledge.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and research in the field.
• Support the data manager in Timetable, Cover, Examinations, Attendance, Rewards.
