Job summary

GEMS Education UAE seeks a Data Assistant to support School Information Systems in Dubai, handling academic and pastoral data, analysis, and MIS tasks. You will contribute to reporting, planning, and data-driven decisions across leadership and teaching teams.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, dashboard creation in Power BI, and collaboration with exam staff, administrators, and external professionals to improve school performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a Data Assistant or comparable school data role.
• Essential experience using Nova-T6.
• Essential experience with educational data (academic and pastoral).
• Experience using Go4Schools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Manager in planning, developing, organising, and monitoring the school’s MIS.
• Maintain accurate academic, pastoral, assessment, attendance, timetable, and examination data.
• Validate imported and entered information before reporting or analysis.
• Identify missing, duplicated, or inaccurate records and coordinate corrections.
• Serve as a data liaison between school leaders, teachers, and administrative staff.
• Produce attainment and progress reports for academic teams.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for school leaders and teams.
• Prepare and analyse information required for school inspections.
