Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard children while they are traveling on the school bus.
- Assist students with seatbelts and ensure they remain safely seated during the journey.
- Help children carry bags while entering and leaving the bus when required.
- Support Foundation Stage students by safely dropping them from the bus to their classrooms.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for students using the school bus service.
- Report any incidents, concerns, delays, or student behavior issues that occur during bus journeys.
- Assist children with washroom needs when required, following school safeguarding and supervision procedures.
- Help maintain cleanliness of allocated washrooms, corridors, and assigned support areas.
- Support safe boarding and drop‑off procedures in coordination with the bus driver and school team.
- Ensure students follow basic safety rules while entering, exiting, and traveling on the bus.
- Communicate politely and professionally with students, parents, drivers, and school staff.
- Follow school policies related to child safety, hygiene, discipline, and student care.
- Assist the school administration with other student support duties as assigned.
Ideal Profile
- Previous experience as a school bus attendant, nanny, helper, cleaner, or student support staff is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school or transport setting is an advantage.
- Must be able to join immediately.
- Caring, responsible, patient, and attentive personality.
- Ability to supervise young children safely and calmly.
- Basic communication skills for coordinating with students, drivers, parents, and school staff.
