Key Responsibilities

• Drive the school bus safely and responsibly while following UAE traffic laws, road safety rules, and approved school transport procedures.
• Pick up and drop off students at assigned locations according to designated routes, timings, and transportation schedules.
• Ensure students remain safe during travel by monitoring seating, seat belt use, boarding, and exiting procedures.
• Maintain a calm and orderly bus environment and guide students to follow expected bus behavior.
• Inform the transportation coordinator immediately about route delays, traffic issues, diversions, schedule disruptions, or safety concerns.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to check bus condition, safety equipment, cleanliness, lights, mirrors, tires, and operational readiness.
• Report mechanical faults, unusual vehicle sounds, breakdown risks, or maintenance requirements to the transportation coordinator without delay.
• Support student discipline on the bus and escalate repeated behavior concerns or serious incidents to school authorities.
• Communicate respectfully with students, parents, school staff, and the transport team during daily operations.
• Record and report any incident affecting student safety, wellbeing, route timing, or transport service quality.
• Stay prepared to respond to transport emergencies, including evacuations, basic first aid support, and urgent safety instructions when required.
• Attend required training sessions on emergency response, student safety, school bus procedures, and transport protocols.
• Maintain accurate route records, mileage logs, daily trip notes, inspection records, and incident reports.
• Submit required transport reports to the transportation coordinator in a timely and organized manner.
