Bus Supervisor - School Support in Dubai is an Education Management role focused on student safety, bus supervision, school transport coordination, and general support duties within a school environment.

Role Context

The Bus Supervisor - School Support will ensure students and staff are transported safely while maintaining order and discipline on the school bus. The role also includes supporting school operations when not assigned to bus duty, such as classroom assistance, event support, student supervision, and general operational help.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of students while boarding, traveling, and alighting from the school bus.
• Supervise students during bus journeys and maintain discipline throughout the route.
• Assist the driver in ensuring smooth, safe, and orderly bus operations.
• Escort students safely between the bus, school premises, and designated pick‑up or drop‑off points.
• Check that students are seated properly and follow school transport safety rules.
• Report incidents, accidents, delays, behavior concerns, or safety issues to school administration immediately.
• Communicate professionally with students, drivers, parents, transport teams, and school staff when required.
• Provide support to school staff in general operational duties when not on bus duty.
• Assist with classroom support, school events, student movement, and supervision duties as assigned.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and caring environment for children during transport and school activities.
• Monitor students with patience, responsibility, and attention to individual safety needs.
• Follow school policies related to child safety, transport procedures, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
• Support daily school operations through punctuality, cooperation, and reliable task completion.
• Maintain a neat, responsible, and professional approach while representing the school.

Ideal Profile

• Previous experience as a bus attendant, bus supervisor, transport assistant, or school support staff member is preferred.
• Experience working with children in a school or education environment is an advantage.
• Ability to handle children with patience, care, discipline, and responsibility.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu language skills will be an added advantage.
• Physically fit, alert, punctual, and able to support student movement and supervision duties.
• Responsible personality with strong awareness of safety and child wellbeing.
• Ability to work cooperatively with drivers, school staff, students, and parents.
• Willingness to assist with general school support functions when not on bus duty.
• Available to join immediately is preferred.
