Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in the UAE is seeking experienced scaffolders for bridge maintenance projects. Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe access for inspection, repair, and rehabilitation of bridges.

The role requires 3–5 years of scaffolding experience, with preference for candidates experienced in bridge maintenance or highway projects, ability to work outdoors, and familiarity with safety practices. CISRS/OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of scaffolding experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in bridge maintenance or highway projects preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Basic knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures including towers, platforms, guardrails, and access systems.
• Follow approved drawings, method statements, and supervisor instructions.
• Ensure scaffolding is stable, properly braced, and safely secured at all times.
• Carry out daily checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing scaffolding materials.
• Support bridge maintenance works such as concrete repair, inspection, and painting by providing safe access.
