Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in the UAE is hiring experienced Scaffolders for bridge maintenance projects. The role involves erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding to provide safe access for inspection, repair, and rehabilitation works on bridges and related infrastructure.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of scaffolding experience, preferred CISRS/OSHA certification, and the ability to work at heights outdoors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of scaffolding experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in bridge maintenance or highway projects preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Basic knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, and safety practices.
• Scaffolding certification (CISRS / OSHA / equivalent) preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures including towers, platforms, guardrails, and access systems.
• Follow approved drawings, method statements, and supervisor instructions.
• Ensure scaffolding is stable, properly braced, and safely secured at all times.
• Carry out daily checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing scaffolding materials.
• Support bridge maintenance works such as concrete repair, inspection, and painting by providing safe access.
