Job summary

AppSierra is seeking a seasoned Data Migration Lead to define and drive complex migrations from Oracle EBS (R12) to SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate with Oracle DBAs and developers to profile, cleanse, and validate data, and lead load cycles using SAP Migration Cockpit or SAP BODS.

The role requires strong SQL skills and deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures, with a focus on data quality, governance, and cutover readiness across multiple business entities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data migration roles, migrating from Oracle EBS (R12) to SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with Oracle EBS underlying tables/modules (FIN, SCM, HCM).
• Proficiency in SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, or equivalent data transformation toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Define data migration strategy, profiling, cleansing, field mapping, and validation protocols across multiple business entities.
• Extract, profile, and clean legacy Oracle EBS data in collaboration with Oracle DBAs and developers.
• Lead data loading cycles (Mock Loads, Cutover Loads) using SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, or ADM.
• Establish automated reconciliation reports to verify completeness and accuracy of migrated data across financial, SCM, and HR domains.
• Coordinate with the System Integrator’s data team to validate target schemas and sign off on cutover readiness.

• Extraction & Cleansing: Work directly with internal Oracle DBAs and developers to extract, profile, and clean legacy Oracle EBS data.
• Load Automation: Lead data loading cycles (Mock Loads, Cutover Loads) using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), SAP BODS, or Advanced Data Migration (ADM).
• Reconciliation & Quality: Establish automated reconciliation reports to verify completeness and accuracy of migrated financial, SCM, and HR data.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with the System Integrator’s data team to validate target schemas and sign off on cutover readiness.

• Technical Skills: Strong SQL knowledge, familiarity with Oracle EBS underlying database tables/modules (FIN, SCM, HCM), and deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA data structures.
• Tools: Proficiency in SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, or equivalent data transformation toolsets.
• Soft Skills: Highly analytical, methodical, and capable of working with cross-functional business teams to drive data ownership and sign-off
