Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United Arab Emirates seeks an SAP Administrator to ensure orders and invoices are accurately captured in the SAP ERP after proper approvals and COA adherence. You will process customer orders, manage invoicing, and support credit notes while maintaining document accuracy to prevent rejections.

You will create SAP sales support for the project teams, coordinate invoice submissions, and oversee the customer portal, ensuring timely status updates.

Qualifications

  • Entry Level (0 - 3 years of experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent is required.
  • Hands on experience in SAP and multi-National company environment.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Schneider Electric's COA and guidelines related to order booking.
  • Accurately input customer orders into the ERP (SAP) while adhering to these guidelines.
  • Manage the invoicing process for all orders (including Projects POC/NPOC, service contracts, RMA, and ZGOR orders via Buy Automation). This will require familiarity with various applications and tools. Ensure the accuracy of invoices and supporting documents through careful verification to avoid errors that could lead to customer rejections.
  • Organize documentation and secure necessary approvals according to COA for credit note issuance, then forward it to the responsible party.
  • Create a sales support network in SAP for the project team to facilitate sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage the submission of invoices to customers.
  • Oversee the customer vendor portal to submit invoices, track their status, and ensure acceptance, noting that processes may vary among customers.
  • Collaborate as a member of the Finance team, supporting audit processes, tax queries, and other requirements as and when needed.

Role Purpose

The Business Title: SAP Administrator [The purpose of the SAP Administrator role is primarily to ensure that customer contracts and purchase orders are accurately recorded in the ERP (SAP) system. This is done after confirming all necessary internal approvals and verifying compliance with Schneider Electric's Chart of Authority (COA) and guidelines. Additionally, the role involves issuing invoices to customers that meet both governmental tax requirements and customer specifications.]
