Job summary

Hauff-Technik GmbH & Co. KG in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to assist the Sales and Technical teams with quotations, technical proposals and product selections.

You will review BOQs, drawings and specifications, coordinate with the technical team, and prepare datasheets and compliance documents for client submissions. The role involves liaising with internal stakeholders for pricing and delivery details, and participating in project and site visits to collect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical sales, engineering support, construction, MEP, infrastructure or building materials will be considered.
• Good communication and coordination skills with customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Willingness to attend project and site visits as required.
• A valid UAE driving license is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales and Technical team in quotations, commercial offers, technical proposals and product selections.
• Review customer enquiries, BOQs, drawings and specs to identify suitable products and solutions.
• Coordinate with Technical team for product selection, clarifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical and commercial documentation (datasheets, submittals, compliance statements).
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for pricing, availability, lead times and delivery costs.
• Participate in project and site visits to assess site conditions and collect measurements, photos, and installation details.
• Assist in developing effective sealing solutions based on drawings and site conditions.
• Attend meetings with customers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Your tasks:

• Support the Sales and Technical team in the preparation of quotations, commercial offers, technical proposals, submittals, compliance documentation and product selections
• Review customer enquiries, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), drawings and specifications to identify suitable products and solutions
• Coordinate closely with the Technical team to address product selection, technical clarifications and customer requirements
• Prepare and maintain technical and commercial documentation, including datasheets, catalogues, submittals, approval documents and compliance statements
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain pricing, product availability, lead times, delivery costs and technical information required for quotation preparation
• Participate in project and site visits with the Technical team to assess site conditions and collect relevant information, including measurements, photographs, cable/pipe details and installation requirements
• Assist in developing effective sealing solutions based on project drawings, specifications and actual site conditions
• Attend meetings with customers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders when required

Your skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in technical sales, engineering support, construction, MEP, infrastructure or building materials will also be considered
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams
• Willingness to attend project and site visits as required
• A valid UAE driving license is not required for this position
