Role Description

The Sales Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and providing informed recommendations on pet food, accessories, and care products. The role involves maintaining store displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring that products are presented clearly and attractively. Sales Representatives process transactions accurately, handle cash and electronic payments, and assist with online and app order queries when needed. The position also includes learning product features, staying up to date on promotions, and supporting in-store events and initiatives that promote pet wellness and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide helpful, friendly support to diverse customers.
• Sales and retail skills, including basic merchandising, point-of-sale operation, and an understanding of upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple customer requests, maintain store standards, and resolve issues effectively.
• Interest in and basic knowledge of pet care, with a willingness to learn about pet nutrition, behavior, and product features.
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, stand for extended periods, and handle light physical tasks such as stocking and lifting products.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy for handling digital orders, inventory systems, and communication tools.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages commonly spoken in the UAE are a plus.
