Job summary

Water Bird Water Treatment Chemicals L.L.C is seeking experienced Sales & Proposal Engineers to support our growing water and wastewater treatment business across the UAE, Oman, and India. The role requires strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems and hands-on experience in technical sales, proposals, estimation, tendering and business development.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the water & wastewater treatment industry.
• Experience in technical sales, proposal engineering, estimation, or tendering.
• Good knowledge of RO, STP, ETP, UF and water treatment processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships.
• Conduct client meetings, technical discussions and sales visits.
• Review RFQs, tender documents, specifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs and cost estimates.
• Develop solutions for RO, UF, STP, ETP, desalination and wastewater treatment systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors and project teams.
• Follow up on enquiries and quotations through negotiation and order closure.
• Support technical presentations, tender submissions and pre-sales activities.
• Maintain sales pipelines, customer follow-ups and business development reports.

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of water treatment systems along with experience in technical sales, proposal preparation, estimation, tendering, and business development.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in technical sales, proposal engineering, estimation, or tendering
• Good knowledge of RO, STP, ETP, UF, and water treatment processes
• Strong communication, commercial, negotiation, and customer-handling skills
• GCC experience is an advantage for Dubai/Oman positions
• Valid driving licence is an advantage
