Overview
Our client looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager with a background in HVAC and/or Fire Protection industries to oversee and optimize sales processes and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day sales operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Streamline and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and maximize revenue.
- Monitor and analyse key sales metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and implement corrective actions for improvement.
- Support sales teams with documentation, certifications, pricing strategies, and contract management, ensuring accurate lead times for production and deliveries.
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and production teams as of a matrix organization to maximize revenue.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely product availability.
- Oversee inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and ensure efficient supply chain management.
- Keep track of supplier stock levels and production schedules, follow up on progress with the operations manager, and provide timely updates to clients to ensure no delays in lead time.
- Maintain strong relationships with both clients and partners to drive long-term business growth.
- Assist in customer engagement and ensure smooth order processing to enhance client satisfaction.
- Align with marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts and support sales objectives.
- Analyse historical sales data and market trends in collaboration with the Sales team leader/Key Account Managers and to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide leadership with valuable insights on sales performance.
- Prepare monthly pipeline forecasts and discuss key findings with the Managing Director.
- Conduct independent business negotiations with suppliers and partners.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently while working under pressure.
- Ensure no delays in production or delivery lead times through proactive coordination.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC/Fire Protection sales operations in the UAE market.
- Understanding of HVAC systems, components, and industry suppliers.
- Experience with customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of HVAC supplier networks, logistics, and procurement processes.
- Be familiar with international trade rules (incoterms) and contracts to effectively negotiate deals and business agreements.
- Strong ability to liaise with suppliers, distributors, and customers effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve sales and supply chain challenges.
- Familiarity with UAE and the Middle East HVAC/Fire Protection regulations, projects, and key industry players.
- Very good communication skills in English, Arabic will be highly desirable.
- Having UAE driving license and a car will be an advantage.
