Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a senior leader to drive growth in the Distribution Transformer segment in Dubai, overseeing strategy, customer engagements, and cross-functional teamwork across engineering, supply chain, and execution.

The role emphasizes market development with utilities and distributors, strong negotiations, and travel as needed to advance opportunities in the MENA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution Grid industry
• Minimum 5 years of commercial, marketing, or operational experience in T&D space
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing or leading industry professionals
• Willingness to travel up to 50% or more as required

• Lead a team of Product Sales Specialists to penetrate target markets including utilities and distributors

• Manage opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.com
• Act as a liaison between customers and factories (engineering, supply chain, execution)
• Provide market intelligence and sales training to account managers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lean principles and standard work approach
• Previous Profit & Loss (P&L) management experience
• Proficiency with Sales & opportunity management tools
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills suitable for both substation and boardroom environments
